Here our decorators stripped off all the existing wallpaper. We removed all the architraves and skirting boards and replaced with new. After that we prepared all the surfaces ready for paint and paper. Ideally we would have normally cross lined all walls but the client was happy for us to paper on the existing surface. We then applied two coats of white emulsion to the ceillings. Zinsser primed the dado rail, followed by two coats of oil based undercoat to all the woodwork and one top coat of oil based Satinwood. Finally we hung the supplied wallpaper.

Mark recently completed the refurbishment and decoration of our hall, stairs and landing. This included the replacement of all skirting boards and architraves, fitting of new door furniture, and all painting and wall papering. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the results and this important area of our home has been completely transformed. Mark takes a real pride in his work from meticulous preparation to the final finish. He was always very helpful, he cleared up every day before going home and kept us well informed at every stage of the work. We have just had 2 bedrooms, hall, stairs and landing decorated by Mark from Buildec. From the very start we were impressed with his politeness, dedication, and his attention to detail. He was extremely helpful by explaining what he was doing as he went along, and also by giving advice when we need it. Nothing was too much trouble. We are absolutely delighted by the finished project, as Mark's standard of workmanship is excellent. The rates for the job were very reasonable and we would recommend Buildec to others, and certainly use them again ourselves.
I have used Buildec at Weston Aerospace on several occaisions over the last 4 years for a multitude of jobs, and I have to say the work is always 1st class.

Would thoroughly recommend this decorator, just had work completed in our flat to wallpaper and paint, absolutely great workmanship so helpful clean and tidy when they finished everyday.
